"I Wish I Will Grand Lucky Draw" Terms & Conditions

This promotion covers the period from 7 February to 31 March 2011, both dates are inclusive ("Promotion Period").
The promotion under this flyer is only applicable to policies applied for through the Agency channel or Broker channel of The Prudential Assurance Company Limited ("Prudential") and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.
During the Promotion Period, customers must submit their fully completed application forms for Prudential's individual life basic plan(s) and/or rider(s) (collectively, "Individual Life Insurance Plan(s)") in the name of the same policyowner, and have a first year total annualised premium reaching at least HK$12,000 per policy. Customers satisfying the requirement ("Eligible Policyowner") will be eligible for entering into the "I Wish I Will Grand Lucky Draw" ("Lucky Draw"). Upon winning any lucky draw(s), customer can only claim the relevant prize ("Prize") if their eligible policy(ies) are issued by Prudential on or before 30 April 2011 and kept in-force at the initial premium level or above after the relevant cooling off period(s).
Entry into the Lucky Draw is based on a per policyowner basis, i.e., customers must have satisfied the above requirement in point 3 by one single policy but not by aggregating multiple policies; furthermore, he/she can only enter into the Lucky Draw once in his/her own name. Eligible Policyowners who have not won any Prizes since entry will be rolled-over to join the next round(s) of Lucky Draw until the Lucky Draw closes.
The Lucky Draw comprises: (a) eight "Weekly Lucky Draws" and (b) two "Grand Lucky Draws". Winners will be drawn on a random basis and all lucky draws will be held according to the schedule specified on the front page of this flyer.
"Prizes" will include: (a) the Grand Lucky Draw Prizes – two MINI Cooper Convertible ("MINI Cooper") and (b) the prizes of Weekly Lucky Draws –Swire Travel Certificates (1^st prize), Cartier Santos Watches (2^nd prize), iPads (3^rd prize), W Hong Kong Dinner Buffet for Four (4^th prize), city'super Shopping Vouchers at value HK$500 (5^th prize) and Sogo Gift Certificates at the respective values of HK$300 and HK$100 (6^th and 7^th prize).
This Lucky Draw is neither applicable to policy(ies) applied for before 7 February 2011, nor to existing individual life insurance basic plan(s), nor to any policy conversion. Riders of the eligible Individual Life Insurance Plan(s) must be attached to the individual life basic plan(s) that is/are newly applied for at the same time during the Promotion Period.
The first year total annualised premium mentioned above refers to the first year total annualised premium of an eligible policy per customer but excludes any Investment-linked insurance plan, Top-up Premium and/or the premium of Investment Plus.
For the sake of fairness, all staff members, consultants and Financial Service Managers of The Prudential Assurance Company Hong Kong branch and Prudential Corporation Asia and their direct family members are not eligible to participate in any of the Lucky Draws mentioned in this flyer.
For policies of all Individual Life Insurance Plan(s) with premium paid via a non-annual payment mode, a pro-rata approach will be adopted to calculate the first year total annualised premium. For example, if a customer pays premium on a monthly basis, the first year total annualised premium shall be equal to 12 times the monthly payment. If the premium paid under the policy is a single premium payment, 10% of such single premium will be taken as the first year total annualised premium. When currencies are converted, the rate of US$1 to HK$7.8 will be adopted.
The Weekly and Grand Lucky Draw results will be posted on Prudential's corporate website (www.prudential.com.hk) starting from 21 February 2011 until May 2011 and will be updated on a weekly basis (every Monday). Results for the Grand Prizes, as well as the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Weekly Lucky Draw prizes will be advertised in Sing Tao Daily and The Standard on 18 April 2011.
The Grand Lucky Draws will be held on 11 March and 8 April 2011 respectively. Each of the two winners will be drawn on a random basis to win one Grand Prize of a MINI Cooper (each worth HK$299,800) – model R57 MINI Cooper Convertible Automatic ZN32. The warranty for the first two years will be provided by BMW Concessionaires (HK) Limited ("the Supplier"). Prudential will only pay for the Hong Kong retail price of the MINI Cooper and the relevant first registration tax. The Lucky Draw winners are responsible for all other costs in connection with the use of the car, including, but not limited to, vehicle licence fee, Traffic Accident Victims Assistance (TAVA) Scheme and vehicle insurance.
The MINI Cooper cannot be resold, in exchange for cash, other models or colours at the time of redemption. The colour of the MINI Cooper is subject to Prudential's discretion.
No Prizes can be exchanged for cash. All Prizes shall be subject to all the terms and conditions imposed thereon by the manufacturer and/or service provider. Prudential is neither the manufacturer nor the service provider of the Prizes and shall not be liable in any way whatsoever in relation to the product/service or the outcome of using such product or service (including, but not limited to, the validity or accuracy, or the quality of the product or service).
The redemption letter of Prizes will be mailed to the policyowner's mailing address shown in our records within 10 to 12 weeks after the Promotion Period is closed. The redemption must take place within the valid redemption period (as determined by Prudential at its sole discretion) in Hong Kong. Damaged or lost of the prize redemption letters will not be re-issued. At the time of Prize redemption, all policies of the newly applied for Individual Life Insurance Plans must remain in-force (as determined by Prudential at its sole discretion) and be kept at or above the initial premium level or else the right of redemption will be forfeited.
The winners of the MINI Coopers, Swire Travel Certificates, Cartier Santos Watches and iPads must attend the prize presentation ceremony in person; otherwise, the respective Prizes will be cancelled.
The Lucky Draw winners shall be deemed to have authorised Prudential to use their photos and personal information for publicity and promotional purposes.
