(Hong Kong, 18 October 2007) The Prudential Assurance Company Limited ("Prudential") is pleased to announce Prudential financial advisors Jimmy Cheng, Kurt Au and Executive Financial Services Manager of Partnerships Distribution DepartmentStanley Lee have been awarded Certificates of Merit at the 1st round of assessment of "The HKIB Outstanding Financial Planner Awards 2007".
In view of the increasing importance of financial planning and wealth management in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and Career Times jointly organised "The HKIB Outstanding Financial Planner Awards" in 2007 with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of financial planning. The Award recognises individuals who excel in the industry and promotes professional service standards and advice based selling amongst financial planners in the banking and retail financial services sectors.
To demonstrate their extensive financial planning experience, particularly with affluent customers, Jimmy, Kurt and Stanley used real life case studies as the basis for their financial proposal, which secured them Certificates of Merit at the 1st round assessment. Jimmy even became one of the top five candidates and he has now entered into the 2nd round of competition.
