(1 Aug 2016 – Hong Kong) Prudential Hong Kong Limited (“Prudential”) is proud to announce the successful launch of its flagship Hope For Success CSR campaign.

Now in its third year, Hope for Success is run in partnership with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and gives Hong Kong youth the chance to explore their career dreams with interactive workshops, mentoring, work shadowing and prizes. Over 500 secondary school students registered this year, with 300 reaching the essay contest round and 100 making it through to the semi-finals.

This year, boxing star “Wonder Kid” Rex Tso Sing Yu joined the campaign as a special guest speaker, sharing the joys, difficulties and triumphs of pursuing lifelong dreams, and inspiring youngsters with his incredible story of perseverance.

As in 2015, selected customers and Prudential financial consultants are invited to participate as career mentors, bringing a wide range of potential career expertise for students to explore. Prudential customers are also invited to be on the judging panels to review the proposals of the 100 semi-finalists and short-list the 50 participants making it to the finals.

Prizes for this year include six Grand Awards of HK$30,000, twenty Awards of HK$10,000, 30 Merit prizes of HK$2,000 and, for all 100 semi-finalists, a Career Dictionary worth HK$250.
