HONG KONG, 10 June 2019 – Prudential Hong Kong Limited ("Prudential") is once again honoured with the Gold Award of “Give Blood Alliance” for the second time in two years by the Hong Kong Red Cross. It also marked the fourth year for Prudential to record the highest donor turnout Hong Kong has ever seen for a mobile blood donation campaign in the commercial sector. 

The "Give Blood Alliance" is Red Cross' initiative that aims to recruit more donors by rallying the support from all sectors in the community. Over 1,500 Prudential staff and financial consultants donated blood through the Prudential Blood Drive in the year 2018.

"It is Prudential’s honour and duty to support the Hong Kong Red Cross through this meaningful and life-saving cause. The Prudential Blood Drive underpins our ongoing commitment to doing good for the local community," said Derek Yung, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential. "We are proud of the initiative taken by our employees and financial consultants to support those in need through blood donation.”
