(7 December 2022, Hong Kong) Prudential Hong Kong Limited (” Prudential”) today announced a strategic partnership with AlipayHK to launch its “Prudential Mini App” on the AlipayHK app. It is the first such mini app by an insurer to be launched in the Hong Kong market.
Through the AlipayHK Application platform, customers can land on the “Prudential Mini App” provided by Prudential to purchase six selected Prudential general insurance products online anytime, anywhere. The first 3,000 eligible AlipayHK users1 will be entitled to an exclusive “$1 Fly with PRU” offer upon successful registration to purchase travel insurance with just HK$1 to enjoy a vacation with peace of mind.
Starting from today, after clicking “Prudential” under Applications on the AlipayHK app homepage, users will be taken to PRUeShop, Prudential’s online sales channel, where they can purchase selected Prudential general insurance products and complete the transaction with AlipayHK in a seamless and easy way.

Limited offer of travel protection at HK$1*
To celebrate this partnership, Prudential has launched its “$1 Fly with PRU” offer*. During the promotion period from now until 20 December 2022, the first 3,000 eligible AlipayHK users will be rewarded with a Prudential insurance voucher valued at HK$166, on a first-come, first-served basis. Using the Prudential voucher for a purchase of PRUChoice Travel insurance in the mini app, eligible users just need to spend HK$1 to fully cover a 4-day trip in Asia. The voucher is also applicable for other selected Prudential general insurance products.
