Governance That Drives Sustainable Change

To embed sustainability across every level of our business, we have established a robust governance framework that drives meaningful progress. Our approach combines global direction with local execution: the Group Sustainability Office sets overarching strategies, while the Hong Kong Executive Committee provides local leadership and oversight.

Supporting this structure, the Hong Kong Sustainability Taskforce brings together subject matter experts from different departments to drive initiatives and monitor progress. Dedicated teams, including the Hong Kong Sustainability Taskforce, the Diversity & Inclusion Council, and the employee-led Green Team, work collaboratively to champion sustainability, foster an inclusive culture, and advance responsible business practices.

Community Investment for Resilience

Building resilient communities through community investments and empowering people are two core aspects of our commitment to social sustainability. As an insurance company, we believe that community resilience is vital, serving as a safety net that protects people against life’s uncertainties. Strong communities form the foundation for a thriving society.

Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), our commitment to community goes beyond philanthropy – we aim to create lasting social impact by leveraging our expertise, partnerships, and resources. Through our Community Investment Strategy, we focus on four key pillars that strengthen resilience and empower individuals to thrive.
