(Hong Kong, 16 April 2026) Prudential Hong Kong Limited ("Prudential") today announced a deepened partnership with Shanghai Fosun Health (Group) Co., Ltd. ("Fosun Health"), integrating all its Greater Bay Area (GBA) member hospitals into Prudential's medical network. Joining the existing partner, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital, are three new additions: Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University Guangzhou Fosun Chancheng Hospital (formerly known as Guangzhou Xinshi Hospital), and Zhuhai Chancheng Hospital. This expansion provides Prudential's eligible customers with access to its Medical Expenses Direct Billing Service in more key cities across the GBA.

This enhanced collaboration enables eligible Prudential customers to consult any of Fosun Health's GBA member hospitals in advance to obtain medical expense estimates. The service covers a diverse range of medical care, including specialist outpatient consultations, surgical procedures, and inpatient treatments. Based on customers’ needs, the medical institutions will assist in submitting pre-approval requests for medical expenses to Prudential. Once approved, Prudential will directly settle the approved medical expenses with the medical institutions upon completion of treatment. The move not only simplifies access to medical care for customers residing in the GBA, but also delivers a seamless, comprehensive healthcare experience for cross-border customers who travel frequently between Hong Kong and other GBA cities.

Lawrence Lam, Chief Executive Officer at Prudential Hong Kong Limited, said: "With cross-border activity in the Greater Bay Area on the rise, so is the demand for cross-border healthcare. This expanded partnership with Fosun Health significantly broadens Prudential's healthcare network across the region, offering our eligible customers more convenient and premium medical service experiences in major cities like Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Foshan. It underscores our customer-first commitment and our dedication to building a truly patient-centred ecosystem with premier medical partners to meet the dynamic needs of cross-border lifestyles."

Shen Yun, Global Partner of Fosun and Co-President of Fosun Health, said, "Fosun Health has been deeply engaged in the Greater Bay Area for many years and remains committed to advancing the deep integration of cross-boundary healthcare services with direct billing insurance solutions. Following the collaboration established last year between Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital and Prudential, the addition of Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital, Guangzhou Fosun Chancheng Hospital, and Zhuhai Chancheng Hospital to the network further strengthens the direct billing healthcare service network between Fosun Health's member hospitals and Prudential across the Greater Bay Area. This expansion delivers broader coverage across the region’s major cities and provides Hong Kong residents seeking medical treatment in the Chinese mainland with more convenient, efficient, and seamless service support. Looking ahead, Fosun Health will continue to leverage the strengths of its member hospitals in specialty care and comprehensive medical services, further optimise direct billing processes and patient service experience, and work closely with partners to enhance the quality and efficiency of cross-boundary healthcare services in the Greater Bay Area, creating a more seamless and reassuring health management experience for more cross-boundary families."
