How to change premium allocation of a life insurance policy

You can log in to myPrudential and complete the following steps to adjust the investment choice allocation for upcoming premiums on your in-force investment-linked life insurance policy

Step 1: Select “Change Premium Allocation”

1. Click the menu button in the top right corner and select “Investment”

2. Click “Change Premium Allocation”

Step 2: Select the investment-linked life insurance to change the premium allocation

Click the policy requiring a premium allocation change

Step 3: Review the important notes of investment choices information

1. Read the important note of investment choices information, then click “Confirm”

2. If the system does not have a record of your risk profile record, a pop-up notice will appear recommending you contact your financial consultant or customer service department to update the record first

Step 4: Review the important notes of change premium allocation

After reading the important notes of change premium allocation, click “Next”

Step 5: Select investment choices and allocation percentages

1. The screen displays existing investment choices; you can reallocate percentages or add new investment choices

2. Click “Select investment choice” and search for investment options by specific criteria

3. Check the new investment options  

4. If the selected investment choice does not match your current risk profile, the system will prompt you. You can re-select other suitable options, or click “Yes” to confirm selection

5. Enter allocation percentage

Step 6: Confirm the reminder notification method and agree to the “Personal Information Collection Statements”

1. Select the method for receiving reminder notification of premium allocation change requests

2. After agreeing to the “Personal Information Collection Statements”, click “Next”

Step 7: Verify the information

1. Verify the information

2. Click “Confirm and send OTP”

Step 8: One-time passcode (OTP) verification

The one-time passcode will be sent via SMS. After entering the code, click “Submit”

Step 9: Request has been successfully submitted
