1. Prudential x SCMP Learn PruNextGen Rising Circle 2026 (“Event”) is organised by Prudential Hong Kong Limited (“Prudential”) and South China Morning Post Publishers Limited (“SCMP”).  “SCMP Learn” refers to the education platform of SCMP. The promotion period runs from 6 July 2026 to 4 August 2026 at 23:59 (Hong Kong time), both dates inclusive, unless otherwise specified (“Promotion Period”).

2. “Participant” refers to any individual who is selected to participate in the Event. The Event is only open to children of existing Prudential customers who are aged between 13 and 17 during the Promotion Period.

3. All applications must be submitted by the parent or legal guardian of the participant through the designated application platform provided by Prudential during the Promotion Period. By submitting an application, the parent or legal guardian confirms that the participant meets the eligibility requirements and agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the participant. The parent or legal guardian of the participant must successfully complete the application by submitting his/her full name (as shown on a valid proof of identity) and a valid mobile number, as well as the participant’s full name (as shown on a valid proof of identity), together with all required personal information and a 200‑word English writing submission (“Application”), in order to complete the application. All information submitted cannot be changed or withdrawn once the application has been submitted. If any information provided during application (including but not limited to the full name and mobile number) is duplicated, untrue, incorrect, incomplete, or invalid, the application will be deemed invalid and the participant will be disqualified.

4. All applications will be jointly reviewed by Prudential and SCMP for the purpose of shortlisting participants. Prudential and SCMP reserve the sole and absolute right to determine the eligibility of all participants, and to select participants at their sole and absolute discretion.

5. Successful applicants will be notified by Prudential and/or SCMP via between 20 August and 25 August 2026 based on the contact details of the parent or legal guardian provided during application. Please note that receiving this notification confirms the participant’s place in the Event. Unsuccessful applicants will not receive a separate notification.

6. Once the event confirmation notification has been issued, it will not be reissued in the event  of loss or damage. Event places are limited  and non-transferable, non-resellable, and not redeemable for cash or any other offers

7. The Event comprises multiple stages, including application and shortlisting, skill‑building workshops, engagement sessions, and a closing ceremony, which will take place during the period from September to November 2026 (“Event Period”). Participants are required to attend all designated sessions and complete all relevant requirements, including submission of articles or other deliverables, in order to be eligible for a certificate of completion or related awards. Participants who fail to meet the relevant requirements may not be eligible to receive such certificate or awards.

8. The Event will be conducted primarily on a face-to-face basis and in English, unless otherwise specified. Participants are responsible for arranging and bearing all costs and expenses associated with their participation, including but not limited to transportation, meals, and accommodation, unless otherwise expressly stated by Prudential.

9. The Event and application arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by Prudential and/or SCMP.

10. Applicants and participants acknowledge that Prudential is one of the co-organisers of the Event. Certain parts, products or services under the Event are provided by SCMP and/or other third-party service providers. With respect to any parts, products or services provided by such third-party service providers, Prudential accepts no responsibility for the content thereof or any related experience, and Prudential is not the agent of such third-party service providers.

11. Any disputes arising from the Event or its related services shall be resolved primarily between the applicant and/or participant and the Service Provider. Prudential shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from any use or misuse of any Event venue or facilities. By attending the Event, applicants and participants acknowledge and accept that Prudential shall not be  liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the Event. Participants are advised to take all necessary precautions and to comply with all safety guidelines provided by Prudential, SCMP, and/or the Service Providers.

12. The provision of personal information to participate in the Event is voluntary. By submitting the application form, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to (i) the Privacy Notice of Prudential https://www.prudential.com.hk/en/privacy-policy/ ; (ii) the Personal Information Collection Statement of Prudential https://www.prudential.com.hk/tc/general/personal-information-collection-statement/prunextgen/ ; (iii) the use of the personal information of Applicant (being the parent or legal guardian of the Participant), including contact details, as well as the Participant’s basic information (e.g., name and age) for event administration and related communication purposes.; and (iv) all the Terms & Conditions of this Event; (v) he/she hereby declares that the participant is aged between 13 and 17 during the Promotion Period and Event participation; (vi) the participant will be deemed to agree to being filmed or photographed. Video and photographs taken during the Event are owned by Prudential and may be used by Prudential and SCMP for editorial, educational, marketing, and promotional purposes, including but not limited to publication on SCMP platforms such as Young Post and across digital, print, and social media channels. Prudential and SCMP shall have the right to use, reproduce, edit, publish, broadcast, or otherwise disseminate such materials in any media and in any form globally, and such authorisation shall be irrevocable and royalty-free. The applicant, the participant, and his/her parent or legal guardian acknowledge and agree that neither he/she nor the participant shall be entitled to receive any payment for the use of such materials; (vii) for the purposes of Event application, administration, and identification of participants, the personal data provided in the application form may be transferred to SCMP and other Service Providers.

13. Prudential and SCMP reserve the right to verify the identity of participants and to disqualify any participants who are found to be ineligible.

14. Prudential reserves the right to interpret these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any dispute, the decision of Prudential shall be final and binding.

15. If there is any conflict between the information contained in the promotional materials and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall apply and prevail.

16. In the event of discrepancies in the terms and conditions between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

17. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Courts have exclusive jurisdiction if any dispute arises.
