Prudential launches first-to-market
Tele-Medical Examination Service and
brand new Point-to-Point Sample Collection Service

The new services enable pre-selected customers to conduct medical examinations remotely with ease and convenience of their home, facilitating the underwriting process to enhance their overall experience

(14 September 2022 – Hong Kong) Prudential Hong Kong Limited (’Prudential’) today announced the launch of Tele-Medical Examination Service, a market-first in Hong Kong, and a brand new Point-to-Point Sample Collection Service, which together allow pre-selected customers* to complete their medical examinations in the comfort of home with just a few simple steps.

Selected customers who choose to use the Tele-Medical Examination Service can simply conduct their medical review with a certified doctor via video conferencing at a place of their choice, such as their home. The Point-to-Point Sample Collection Service involves a registered nurse visiting the location of the customer to collect their samples or to conduct physical examination. Upon completion of the service, customers then need to e-sign their online medical examination report to complete the whole process, which facilitates the overall underwriting process.

The two innovative services offer privacy, convenience, and comfort of conducting the examination from a familiar and safe location chosen by the customers.
