(17 April 2013 – Hong Kong) The Prudential Assurance Company Limited (“Prudential Hong Kong”) is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Hong Kong Football Club‘s (“HKFC”) Special Soccer Programme and the Crusaders Team to support soccer coaching for children and adults with special needs.
The sponsorship commitment was celebrated with an inaugural charity football event on March 23 at HKFC grounds, with soccer matches involving Prudential employees, financial consultants and the HKFC stars. Through donations and support, the charity event raised HK$188,700 for the HKFC Special Soccer Programme.
The Special Soccer Programme offers free weekly football coaching, helping participants boost their fitness and sharpen their soccer skills within a socially stimulating environment. Prudential’s sponsorship will also help support tournaments, charity matches and other community events.
