Prudential announces winners of its Hope For Success Programme

01/12/2017

Prudential Hong Kong Limited ("Prudential") announced the names of six Grand Award winners and 20 Award winners of its flagship youth programme "Hope for Success".

The 20 winners this year were chosen from a pool of more than 300 students from 110 secondary schools, through a competitive selection process including career seminars, career exploration workshops, and presentations during the summer vacation. Each winner was awarded with an incentive to support the journey to their career goals. This year's programme featured for the first time a workshop hosted by Prudential back office staff who taught business etiquette and presentation skills, which helped students to enhance their personal image and communications technique.

The event also announced Grand Award winners of Hope For Success 2016. Each winner was selected by panel judges based on their commitment and consistently outstanding performance over the past 12 months as the Grand Award winners of a HK$30,000 award.

Mr. Derek Yung, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential said: "Through Hope for Success and our partnership with Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, we build a bridge between young people’s dreams and practical action to help them fulfil those dreams. Our winners this year are truly inspiring and we are confident that the experience will help their personal and professional development while also encouraging them to engage in career planning."
